The Barn is an ideal venue for either
pre-wedding get-togethers, or for small wedding parties and
celebrations. It is fully insulated with gas fired central heating
throughout, and includes a multi-fuel log burning stove.
The open
plan kitchen and dining area is ideal for hosting large gatherings,
with potential for opening out into the extensive lounge area. Outdoor
facilities include plenty of off road parking to the front and rear of
the barn, lawned gardens that can cater for marquees, a B.B.Q area,
outdoor pizza oven and fire pit, ideal for hosting hog roasts and other
hot food. With 3 years experience catering for a variety of weddings, we
are happy to discuss your specific requirements.
The barn is
also ideal as an additional venue for wedding guests, should your
wedding be taking place elsewhere in the locality. The hire of the barn
includes sleeping accommodation for up to 24 people, and is charged at
the regular 2-night weekend rate of £1850. There is an additional charge
of £750 for wedding parties larger than this, including use of outdoor
spaces. There will be a separate charge for marquee hire, etc, on
request.
We are happy to provide advice and support regarding
hiring of external equipment, e.g. generators, extra portable WCs,
caterers, transport, and outdoor furniture. Additional camping
facilities for extra guests are available on the neighbouring farm, on
request. We are happy to discuss any individual requirements or smaller
party arrangements.
